2% milk

Milkbunnie Version 2.0!

I’ve been wanting to revamp the whole Milkbunnie concept for a while. I liked the idea of a bunny shaped like a milk carton, but over time, it became really static. I couldn’t really do much with it. After all, a box, with no limbs or anything, was hard to place in different environments without looking… just awkward. I tried to re-draw it many times, but never came up with anything interesting.

So, back when I first came up with milkbunnies, I was having trouble deciding between two ideas. One was the bunny-as-milk-carton thing, which I ended up going with. But the other was the idea of a bunny made of milk, who was still bunny-shaped. I tried to expand on that idea last night in my sketchbook. I’m very happy with the results!

I think I want to make a mini-series of the bunny incorporated into different foods. Like tacos (a la sour cream, haha!) and hamburgers (a la mayonnaise).

Now I just want to re-design my website… I’ve been planning to for a while, but this bunny redesign makes me exceptionally motivated!
